During my stay at Lake Batur Cottage, I found the accommodation to be a serene retreat nestled at the end of the lake, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city life. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, with good amenities including a hot shower and cozy beds, ideal for a relaxing night's rest after a day of volcano trekking. The hosts were kind and accommodating, assisting us in arranging a guided hike up Mt Batur, which was a highlight of our trip.While the location may not be central, the tranquility and stunning views of the village and lake more than make up for it. The hot spring tub outside was a luxurious touch, perfect for unwinding under the stars after a long day of exploring.In terms of value, Lake Batur Cottage provides a good balance between affordability and comfort, making it a wise choice for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.
